Visiting Botswana, Zimbabwe and Victoria Falls; it was the most amazing experience that I ever had. You can encounter the Big Five, no matter where you are, you’ll be able to spot a variety of birds, you will never get tired of wildlife drives, we visit in April 2025 with great weather. Part of the safari experience is witnessing the tracking skills of your guides and trackers. They’ll show you the differences between the paw prints of a lion and a hyena, for example. Botswana and Victoria falls are Southern Africa most remarkable destinations.
Cape town experience was great, impressive Table Mountain National Park and Cape Point.
Central business district is the oldest urban area in Western Cape, with great Atlantic coastline. Like Boulder beach and Kirstenbosch with the penguins.
Wine tasting was great beautiful winelands, Stellenbosch, Franschhoek.
All the great experience thanks to our travel agent Cornell Martin

Cornel was our tour leader for a group trip to Africa in April 2025. She did a great job - everything was well organized and Cornel took care of all the details. The itinerary was wonderful and everything went smoothly. South Africa is beautiful - we loved Cape Town, and the wineland areas (Stellenbosch and Franschhoek) are very scenic and the wine we tasted at the various vineyards was FANTASTIC). Our particular itinerary included Victoria Falls in Zimbabwe, which was incredibly beautiful - and the highlight of our trip was our safari experience at a gorgeous safari lodge in Kruger National Park. We had 2 safaris each day we were there, and seeing the animals "up close and personal" was definitely awe inspiring!
I would highly recommend Cornel as a tour leader - she made it all very easy and everyone in our group had a fabulous time.

Planning a trip to the other side of the globe—below the equator and into a land completely unfamiliar to us—is not a small undertaking. When we first began considering a journey from the United States to South Africa, it felt overwhelming and incredibly time-consuming. We had no firsthand knowledge of the country, its people, or its culture, and only limited experience with transcontinental travel.
From our very first meeting, Cornel immediately put our minds at ease. As a native South African who has made the trip between continents many times, she brought not only expert knowledge but invaluable insider access. Her deep understanding of the land and her strong network of trusted connections in both countries ensured that every detail of our experience was thoughtfully and expertly handled.
What truly set Cornel apart was her sincere interest in getting to know us. She listened carefully to what most excited us and crafted a personalized itinerary that struck the perfect balance between wine country and wild country—luxury and adventure.
Our trip began with the breathtaking and not-to-be-missed Victoria Falls. Experiencing the falls from both a riverboat cruise above and walking through the park below was absolutely spectacular. From there, we traveled to Cape Town, where we enjoyed exceptional dining and shopping along with a private sightseeing tour led by knowledgeable local guides who made our time in the Cape both enlightening and adventurous.
When weather and wind conditions complicated our plans to hike Table Mountain, Cornel seamlessly adjusted our schedule. She arranged expert guides and an alternative hike up Lion's Head—an unforgettable experience that turned a potential disappointment into a highlight of the trip. That flexibility and responsiveness gave us tremendous peace of mind.
Next, we moved on to Franschhoek, widely considered the country’s food and wine capital, where we relaxed for several luxurious days enjoying world-class cuisine and spa experiences. Transitioning from wine to wildlife did not mean sacrificing comfort or culinary excellence. Cornel arranged our stay at Karongwe Private Game Reserve, which was breathtaking from sunrise to sunset. Twice-daily safari excursions led by knowledgeable staff, serene afternoons by the pool, and cuisine presented like works of edible art made every moment extraordinary.
One particularly meaningful detail: Cornel carefully ensured that our dietary restrictions were graciously accommodated throughout the entire trip—without any compromise in quality. That level of attentiveness speaks volumes about her care and professionalism.
Could we have found some of these destinations on our own? Perhaps. But what we could not have replicated was Cornel’s seamless coordination, her personal advocacy on our behalf, and the sense of safety and confidence we felt knowing she was managing every logistical detail. She handled the complexities so that we could focus entirely on the beauty, adventure, and joy of what truly became the trip of a lifetime.
If you are considering travel to South Africa, I cannot recommend Cornel highly enough. Her expertise, personalization, efficiency, and unwavering support transformed what could have been an overwhelming process into an extraordinary and unforgettable experience.

Cornel was the best most conscientious person to lead a big group .
The details , safety , and needs of each person was taken care of. I
was a little nervous about going so far away to an unknown place but,
the tours, people, transportation and places we stayed were fabulous.
I came away from that trip feeling full of joy and wanting to do more
trips with Cornel.
I felt confident and relaxed knowing Cornel was always there to answer
or take care everything during the whole trip.
Go on any trip with her and you will see for yourself!
I would highly recommend Cornel as a tour leader - she made it all very easy and everyone in our group had a fabulous time.
